This question was dropped off by the fabulous Kelly Leigh all the way from United Kingdom.
An American girl who is now based in England, Leigh loves to prepare vegetarian meals during her free time. While enjoying the good life with London-bred hubby, the lovely blogger-wife keeps her hands full with tasty treats, colorful sketches and some other sweet stuff. It looks like she has things organized with a neatly planned list of 100 things to do before she dies. Pretty smart!

But first, tell us...
Why do paint colors on the swatch never look the same when you put them on the wall?
[ Perché i colori della vernice sul campione non osservano mai lo stessi quando le mettete sulla parete? ]

The world today doesn't make sense, so why should I paint pictures that do?

So true!
Learned that one the hard way once and wound up with a garishly bright yellow bedroom!
xoxox,

I think because a swatch is so small, and when you put that color on a whole entire wall (or even more dramatically, four walls!), it takes on a different life.
haha this is great! Can't wait for the answers!
Haha, maybe because the swatch color was computerized & not really painted on a piece of paper?
Great Q&A!
hmm...it could be because the swatch of fabric is just that, fabric
not a wall with so many other coats on it
ah swatches...

I guess because the surfaces change so the colors does the same. It happens the same with the colors in different computers.

Hmm, maybe because of the of the colour that the wall was previously? Happy Friday hun xx
I think it's because somethings look better on paper and has unexpected results in reality.
