Actress-turned pop star Madonna was publicly heard expressing her disgust over a fan's gift at a Venice Film Festival.
During a press conference of her upcoming movie, W.E., Madge gracefully accepted some purple hydrangeas. She repeatedly thanked her adoring fan then tucked the bouquet of flowers underneath the table. Her eye-reacting disgust flowed down her British-accenting mouth and into the microphone...
I absolutely loathe hydrangeas.
Obviously, he doesn't know that.

So, that YouTube video (below) went viral... And, obviously, the Material Girl lives in a hydrangea-free world where only English Roses probably bloom. Some even wondered why she hated such delicate flora that usually adorn a Martha Steward home and garden design.
Pop Dust: "Hydrangeas are very romantic, feminine and maybe a little demur," suggested Eddie Zaratsian of Tick-Tock Couture Flowers, Los Angeles, California, who has worked with corporate clients like Chanel, as well as an undisclosed list of celebrities. "Madonna is known for her strength and confidence and so it’s only natural she would gravitate towards a bolder flower."
In a CNN Report, Her Madgesty's representative stepped in to clarify this negative remark: "She's entitled to like any flower she wants and she didn't want to hurt the feeling of the hydrangeas of the world. No disrespect to the hydrangeas lovers of the world but she prefers different types of flowers."
Could this only be a publicity plot to create noise especially now that she has a new movie coming up?
I absolutely loathe hydrangeas - NOT.
