Last night, September 14th about 7:40, a strange light ripped across the skies of California and Arizona.This bright light show was seen particularly in Orange County and in a baseball event where spectators had a better view. One woman even caught it using her cellphone and posted it on YouTube.
Some said it was of bluish green or purple color shooting across the night sky for about 10 to 15 seconds. Then it faded into a reddish orange hue.
The national weather service and Luke Air Force Base control tower were aware of the phenomenon and speculated it was a meteor. However, NASA has not released an official report yet.
