I doubt 99% of all persons asked this question could give a realistic answer. Why? Because killing someone is probably the worst act imaginable. The majority of persons can bring no relevant experience to bear when coming up with an answer, so most responses will in the main be meaningless. As to applying the principles of utilitarianism, I'd hazard a guess and say the enormity of killing one person is probably equal to killing ten. There is no formula for moral action.

ahhh the philosphical question. depends if u are an utilatarian or not. if u are then u would say its ok to kills the one person for the greater good. dont know though if thats truly right though.
